Why I Built This Community
"For 15 years, I ran my property development business in Manchester as a one-man band. I had no one to turn to when things got tough, and the frustration, overwhelm, and isolation left me disconnected from the passion that got me started in the first place.
When I moved to Sweden in 2015, I turned to social media to stay connected and stumbled upon business groups that offered support and advice. These communities became my lifeline—they helped me feel less alone and gave me the confidence to keep moving forward.
But there was a problem. The public nature of these platforms made it hard for me to share openly, and I was constantly distracted by ads, irrelevant content, and random notifications. As someone with ADHD, this was a nightmare. When I tried building my own Facebook group, algorithms got in the way, limiting my reach and frustrating both me and my clients. Many of us disliked social media altogether, feeling it wasn’t a place for deep, meaningful connection.

We have a strict no-selling policy in our community, We will remove anyone found soliciting per our Community Guidelines.
One of the main reasons I built this private platform is because I dislike the constant, irrelevant ads, notifications, and messages that come with free platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram. I find it frustrating (and distracting) to be bombarded with unsolicited offers for products and services I don’t need, or random people trying to connect. That’s why we’ve established strict community guidelines: we do not allow or tolerate unsolicited emails or direct messages. Repeat offenders will be banned without warning.
Unlike Facebook, you have full control over what you see and the notifications you receive. For more details, check out our FAQ on managing content and notifications below.
Also, because we charge for membership, we don’t rely on advertising revenue. This means your experience is completely free from unwanted distractions, allowing you to focus on building the freedom-driven business you deserve!

Will you remind me before my next payment is due?
Yes. We partner with Stripe as our secure payment service provider. Stripe will send you an email a few days before each payment is due so there are no nasty surprises . You can update your payment information, change subscription or cancel through Stripe's self-serve portal at any time- no need to contact us first (see our cancelation policy below).
Can I pause my membership?
We are unable to pause membership. You are free to cancel at anytime and rejoin at a later date (subject to our cancellation policy). However, any promotional rates offered when your signed up may not by available when you rejoin.
There is no minimum term and you can cancel at any time by visiting your self-serve client portal. You do not need to give a reason for cancelling but one is always appreciated to help us improve our services.
Please note, no refunds are offered after the first 30 days. When you cancel your subscription, no further payments will be taken and you will retain access until the end of your current paid period. (Please see 'What happens to my access when I end my membership?' for more information)
If after cancelling you change your mind, you can rejoin at anytime before your paid period ends to keep your discounted rate.
If you want to re-join after your subscription has ended, you will not receive any promotional rates offered at the time of purchase.

Do you have a refund policy?

Your access to our community, support groups, courses, systems, training recordings and resources will be removed when you end your membership.
However, if you are a returning (legacy) client with existing access to courses and systems, you will retain any pre-existing access when you end your SYS Academy membership.
